The purchaser has a 10 day cooling off period in which he can pull out of the transaction at no cost and receive your full deposit back.
You will be officially notified when this period commences, we will also be advising you on when this period starts and when it finishes so that you are not caught unaware. If you decide to pull out of the transaction your deposit will be returned and you will not incur any costs.
When this time has elapsed you will be bound by the legal terms of your agreement to purchase the property. If you decide not to buy the property after this period, for a reason which is not one of the conditions of the Compromis de Vente then you would lose your deposit. As you will have read, Morzine Immobilier draft the Compromis de Vente and we will write certain conditions such as “subject to Finance”, so if you cannot purchase as you are unable to secure finance then you will receive your deposit back.
